Client Centred

Hawkins Architecture is a client centred service that extends well beyond producing a set of drawings.

Guidance

We will guide you through the complex procedures of planning permission and building regulations.

Support

If required, Hawkins can provide contacts for trusted local builders, assist in the tendering procedure, and monitor the builders' progress on site.

Six steps to a successful building project.

We'll arrange an initial consultation meeting to discuss your project requirements. At this meeting I'll be able to show you through my portfolio of previous designs and drawings which will help us focus on your needs.

Having responded to our first meeting and the design requirements I will prepare a full quotation for the works which will include my professional fees, a project budget and outline timescale for it's completion.

This will form our agreement and acceptance and a date for the start of your project.

Full measured survey and further discussion of requirements and implications of the project. At this stage I will enable the co-ordination of any other consultants that may be required.

I will present to you with my concept designs for discussion. At this stage we will be able to develop the design in detail, together.

Upon agreement of the sketch scheme proposals, planning drawings are prepared and agreed with you in advance of lodging an application with the Local Authority.

Working drawings will be created as part of the requirement for building regulations.

During the course of the construction phase I can be on-hand if required to help solve any technical queries as they arise. This element will be charged at my hourly rate and agreed during the design process.
